Dear Village Obstetrics patients,
We are thrilled to have you in our practice.
We do things a little differently at VOb. You will enjoy, for example, an unmatched low c-section rate and direct e-mail communication with us. We have an unhurried and joyful approach to birth. Our outcomes are outstanding, and we put our stats on our website so you can easily see for yourself the elite quality of care that is Village Obstetrics.
As you may know, however, there have been some rapid and unforeseen changes at St. Vincent's Hospital. As a result, going forward we will be unable to participate with insurance plans. We are in active discussions and hope to rejoin participation in plans in the near future. In the meantime, as of 3/1/10 all new patients will need out-of-network benefits to see us. We encourage you to discuss your coverage specifics with us directly.
Finally, we are pleased to participate with GE "Care Credit." This may be the right solution for some, allowing you to be reimbursed directly from your insurance company while financing any remaining balance with repayment schedules up to 60 months through Care Credit.
