Jaqueline Worth, MD

jaquelineworth, md

A native New Yorker, Dr. Jaqueline Worth did her medical training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and went on to an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side. Before coming to Village Obstetrics, she had a busy private practice at Lenox Hill, where she delivered hundreds of babies a year. She focuses on educating new mothers and fathers about pregnancy and childbirth, helping them make informed choices about medications and labor. She has developed a strong reputation for working collaboratively with midwives and doulas, and she is among the minority of doctors who continue to support patients who want a trial of labor after a cesarean delivery. She also prides herself on having a low rate of cesarean section among her patients. A mother of two young daughters, Dr. Worth understands the joy each and every child brings.
